Payment Terms and Time Sheets
Invoices for service and consulting are submitted on a monthly basis for service
agreements and submitted at the end of the day for consulting and on-demand service, with
payment requested upon receipt. Invoices for equipment are submitted upon ordering with
payment requested upon delivery. A 25% installment is required for system integration
requiring cabling or above $5000.00, with a further 50% due at completion and the final
25% due 30 days after completion. This payment is generally arranged in the form of three
cheques at the time of confirmation of our services. All invoices include service reports
listing activities performed, the technical personnel involved, and the time expended.
Quotations
Quotations are provided upon request at no cost. Initial consultation for the purposes
of giving a quotation is free, although any subsequent consultation to the client carries
our normal hourly consulting fee.
Confidentiality
All information provided to us shall be held in confidence and all materials returned
at the end of the project.
On-going
Support
On-going support is always available from Foresee Computing on an "as
required" basis at our regular hourly rate. Brief telephone call support up to one
month after the project is completed is provided at no cost.
Service contracts are offered to our customers on a monthly block rate, with minimum 6
month contract periods. The fee includes on-site service and telephone support. Foresee
Computing's normal rate for service contracts start at $600.00 per month and include 8
hours on-site service (including emergency service) and unlimited telephone support.
Remote Network monitoring is available for
customers with a dedicated Internet connection.
Equipment/Software
Provision
If a preferred equipment/software supplier has already been selected, we are always
pleased to work with the current vendor. If we are requested to provide quotations, then
our personnel locate the sources with the most competitive prices.
Service Warranty
Foresee Computing will resolve any installation errors or faults reported within 30
days after project completion at no cost to the client.
Hardware Warranty
All equipment is typically warranted for parts and labour for a minimum of 1 year.
Vendors provide their own warranty. Servers are typically warranted for parts and labour
for 3 years
Software
Warranty
Software is typically warranted by the software manufacturer, with periods ranging from
30 to 90 days. After the initial support period it is up to the customer to decide if a
support contract with the software vendor is necessary or if per-incident support
along with our support is adequate.
